Wes Hazlett Ministry Biography Wes Hazlett has been involved in Christian ministry since his radical conversion to Christ in the fall of 1996. Following a short professional baseball career in 1996 and the destruction of a relationship in which a beautiful son was born of the ashes, Wes was confronted with what he calls the 'inevitable emptiness and total futility of a world that lusts after its own tail' . By the grace of God and in the richness of the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ, Wesley William Hazlett surrendered his life to his Creator, Lord, and Savior- Jesus the Christ on or about the fall of 1996. In 1998, about two years later, in symbolic fashion of what Christ did for him, Wes made a large cross, out of old Louisville Slugger baseball bat boxes, and walked down a state highway in Minnesota.
